CREATIVE EXPRESSION IN SOUND & MOTION

The Performing Arts Department dazzles civic groups, schools, convalescent hospitals, church events, parades, and non-profit organizations with performances as well as producing two full length productions per year, which are performed live on-stage at the Jon Ginsburgh Gallery, and at the Main Street Theatre in Visalia.The department also produces original cd's, with songs written and recorded at TCC, as well as original short film productions written, shot and edited all at TCC!

 

PERFORMING ARTS DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Performing Arts Department is to provide instruction that promotes in our students, personal growth, self-discipline, and confidence.  We seek to do this while providing the public quality entertainment and education about The Creative Center and it's students.  Through a teamwork approach, our department strives to coordinate and integrate the curriculum so as to instill in our students an appreciation for many disciplines in performing arts, including dance, mime, theatre, vocal and instrumental music.
