The Grand Americana

The Grand Americana

The Creative Center proudly welcomes guest artist Tristan Luke to its Jon Ginsburg Gallery for The Grand Americana exhibition! Tristan is a talented family man from Hanford who works in ink and gouache. His art is inspired by tattoo aesthetics and has a distinct folk quality. It contemplates common and mysterious symbols such as skulls, crosses, American eagles, and flags. The Creative Center artists are partnering alongside Tristan in their own depictions of tattoo aesthetics and American identity. Opening reception is on Friday, July 6 from 5-8pm at the Jon Ginsburg Gallery. Enjoy FREE FOOD and LIVE MUSIC by The Creative Center Band at 5:30pm. The guest artist’s own band, Daze Baby, will be performing at 6:30pm. Sample their music on Soundcloud.
