Visual Arts
Our Visual Arts department offers a dynamic combination of studio instruction, socially engaged public art projects, and exhibition opportunities in local venues, including the Jon Ginsburg Gallery at the Creative Center. This department seeks to serve the whole person and transform the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities through the arts by building self-esteem, developing motor-skills, cultivating community integration, and building social and vocational skills.
Workshops
We offer monthly workshops for our artists at The Creative Center, giving them the opportunity to sign up and create something new while exploring a wide range of artistic disciplines. Workshops include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, digital art, photography, fiber arts, and mixed media. Sessions are led by our experienced staff as well as guest artists, providing hands-on instruction that helps artists build new skills, experiment creatively, and grow their artistic practice.
